Max: Our Foster Dog

Meet Max. He is our neighbor-down-the-street's dog. Max is the best little dog, has so much personality and is the sweetest little guy ever! We call him our "foster dog" because when his owners are away from home, he heads down to our house to stay with us while they are away. Most days I look out of the window or front door and there he sits, waiting for me to let him in. He spends a lot of days playing in the house with the kids. He almost always goes on walks with us too. Our kids LOVE him, and I think it's safe to say he loves them too!

Walking with the Boys

The boys love going on walks and riding their little ride-on toys. Jack is a speed demon....and that is putting it mildly! I wish I had video to post of him riding this motorcycle. It is hilarious seeing his little legs move so fast. Daniel on the other hand starts out going fast, then gets distracted and aborts his toy all together. On this trip he actually went to a neighbors back door and knocked on it. After we try and get him back on path, he usually just pushes his toy. They are so funny!!

100th Day of School

Today is the 100th day of school at Tallassee Elementary. They plan a big celebration with special art projects, games, and parties. The first grade children were asked to dress like they were 100 years old. Georgie was so excited about this. Thanks to Nana and Granny we were able to pull together a cute little outfit for her. Her favorite things were the glasses and walker.

When I was snapping pics before school, she told Daniel to come get in the picture and pretend he was her grandson.

Then she decided she needed a Kleenex.

Such a cute 100 year old lady!

This came home in Georgia Anne's folder yesterday. I thought this was too cute and funny not to share!

Baby Banks

We have been so glad to spend some time with this little guy the past few weeks! Banks is the sweetest little boy and we love him so much! I was interested to see how my three would react to Banks once he arrived. Tori has doted on my three for so long, I was a little concerned they might be a tad jealous. I have been so surprised. Georgia has been the best little helper....giving him his bottles, helping get things for him, and basically entertaining him. To say Daniel loves him doesn't do it justice. When Banks is around, Daniel is hovering over him, with his little arms extended wanting to hold him. I can tell they will be fast friends! And Jack. Well, Jack likes Banks, but is still a little reserved with him. He likes to look at him, but doesn't really want to hold or touch him. Jack is mainly concerned with showing him trucks, motorcycles, cars, and trains. We are so excited to see how he grows and see his little personality develop.

And I had to include this last shot. We laugh and say Banks always looks worried or stressed out. I just think this picture is so funny!!!
Worried?? Who me??

Georgia is 7!!

Friday night we celebrated Georgia Anne's 7th birthday with a Barbie themed cookie decorating party at our house. Georgie came up with the idea, theme, and decoration ideas all by herself! (She might have a little bit of her Mommy in her after all). She invite a few of her friends and I must say, they had the best time! They were so funny and cute, and they all really got into decorating the cookies. I think I will be cleaning up sprinkles for months....but it was so worth it!

Georgie really got into decorating her cookies!

Capital One Bowl

Nana, Papa and Michael headed down to Orlando for New Year's to see Alabama play in the Capital One Bowl. They had a nice time, and of course, it is always a good trip when the Tide pulls through with a big win.

White Christmas.....Almost!

It snowed the morning after Christmas in Tallassee. It didn't last long. I guess this is the closest we'll get to a white Christmas here!
