Where has My Little Baby Gone?

One of my favorite things is walking in Daniel's room after he has been sleeping and seeing this precious little thing with his wild hair all over the place. Everyone has been telling me I needed to get his hair cut, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I guess I knew once I did, I officially would have said good-bye to his babiness (I guess that is a word). The final straw was in Wal-Mart Monday when a woman told me I had the cutest little girl! Then I saw Michael's best bud, Miles, when we were checking out and he said, "Oh, I thought you were Georgia Anne" to Daniel, jokingly. I guess those were signs that it was time.

Waiting for his appointment

All done and showing off his treat for being such a big boy!

Caught in the Act

So we are still working on getting the potty training thing down with Jack. I have always kept the bathroom doors closed because of apparent safety reasons with three little ones. Well, since Jack has been using the potty, I have had to keep the doors open since he can't open them by himself. Last night while cooking dinner, I thought it was a little quiet, so I went to investigate. I found D in the bathroom sink, stuck, with the water running. He was even a little concerned....can't you tell by the look on his face?

First Day of School for Jack

Jack started his second year at First Baptist's Preschool Academy a few weeks ago (I've been a little slow at updating the blog). He goes three mornings a week and we were so excited that Mrs. Kayla was his teacher again this year. Jack loves "Mrs. Caleb" (as he calls her because Georgie has a friend named Caleb). This is such a wonderful little program and I am so glad Jack can be a part of it.

Sneak Peek

Once again it was time to design the WTLS advertisement for the Tallassee Football Program. We got the back cover again this year which we are so excited about. I thought I'd give you a sneak peek of the ad. You can see the last two year's ads here and here.

First Grade

Today was a day filled with excitement and much anticipation...the first day of first grade! Georgie was ready to get back to school after a fun-filled summer. It is always a little sad to say good-bye to summer, but also exciting to start back to school. Oh, the fun in getting new school supplies, a new backpack and lunchbox, and who can forget new school clothes?

We are so excited about this school year because Georgie's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Dickerson got moved to first grade and Georgie was SO LUCKY as to get her again! I thought she was going to explode when we told her Mrs. Dickerson would be her teacher again. And to top it off, she has several of her friends in her class.

Showing off her new backpack (which I think we could fit her inside of)

Kirsten, Mrs. Dickerson and Georgie

Sweet Caleb with Georgie. It was the cutest thing when we got to class, Caleb started bouncing in his seat when he saw us. He hugged Georgie and told her, "I love you. I have missed you so much!" The sweetest thing EVER!

Georgie, Kirsten and Caleb have been together since Georgia started Mother's Day Out when she was 19 months old. These three have literally grown up together and I am so excited they are still together!!

Jack's Monkey Tractor Party

This past Saturday, we celebrated Jack's 3rd birthday with a very fitting, "monkey tractor" party at our house. Jack is one of the youngest of his friends, so he has been to nearly all of his friend's parties this past year. He has patiently waited for his big day and has talked about his party and has been planning his party for literally months now. He told us he wanted a "monkey tractor" party about three months ago. He didn't deviate from his plan, so a monkey tractor party is was! I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but when everything was said and done, I think it was the cutest little theme and was totally fitting for our little Jack.

The invitation...

And let me start by saying that sweet Amy at Pink Clover Designs is the BEST! She literally set the entire tone of the party with her super cute invitation that she designed just for Jack. She also designed all the cute labels, stickers and thank you notes for the party. I urge you to contact her if you are ever in need of invitations, stickers or note cards. She is amazingly talented and so easy and affordable to work with!!!

The kids loved Jack's train table!

Next I must give a huge shout out and thank you to Joey and Kami for bringing his tractor over and putting it in the front yard. This was a big deal for Jack! He was so excited when he saw them bringing it Saturday morning. You guys are the best!!

Happy Birthday, Jack!

It is so hard to believe that our little Jack is turning three today! Where does time go? It seems like only yesterday he was a little baby. Jack is the sweetest little guy and we love him so very much. His birthday party is today, and I will try and post pictures soon. His party this year was a BIG deal to him, so I did exactly what he wanted and have tried to make it extra special for him. Be on the lookout for the "monkey tractor party" pictures....HA!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Jacker!

Beach Trip: Part Three

Georgia and Jack were super excited that they had built-in bunk beds! Poor Daniel had to sleep in the pack-n-play (which he did great in).

Posing on the ocean buggy, which they really wanted to rent and ride. We quickly nipped that idea!

They were excited to take their beach buckets out to try and find some treasures.

There was a great public park/shopping area close to our condo. They kept begging to get in the fountain. Georgia and Daniel LOVED it! There are no pictures of Jack because all he did was run in circles around the perimeter of the fountain. Silly boy!

On our way to and from the beach, we traveled through Butler, Georgia. So, we had to stop and get a picture of Georgia Butler in Butler, Georgia!

We also stopped for a few hours in Savannah on the way home. It was beautiful, and hopefully we can go back soon to stay longer.
