Chewacla State Park

Last weekend we took advantage of the beautiful weather we've had lately and spent the afternoon at Chewacla State Park in Auburn. Memaw, Paw Paw and Brittan went with us and we had the best time. We had a picnic lunch, hiked to the falls, and the kids played on the "old school" playground (I loved the playground because it was exactly like the ones I remember playing on as a kid). This park is a little hidden gem right in the heart of Auburn. The river and falls were beautiful. They have a lot of hiking and biking trails and campground areas as well as cabins you can rent. I can't wait to go back....it was so much fun!

Gymnastics

Georgia Anne has been taking gymnastics at Auburn Gymnastics Academy at Auburn University for almost a year now. She absolutely loves it and has really gotten good since she began last summer. She is especially good on the bar, and it is her favorite. I am surprised how much strength she has, even though she is so small. These aren't the best pictures. They were taken through glass with a lot of other eager Mommies and Daddies trying to get the best place up front.

Michael has really been working on scanning our old photos. He scanned these two of us today that I thought I'd share with you. I think we are both about the same age when these were taken, somewhere around 3 years old. Just curious if you think any of our kiddos look like either of us when we were children?
