Happy Birthday Nana!!

Happy Birthday, Nana!!
Saturday, April 11th was Nana's birthday. We are so lucky to have you. You were the best mother I could have ever asked for and I am so happy you are able to be such a big part of Georgia, Jack and Daniel's lives. We love you and hope you had a wonderful day!!

Jack's Play Date

Jack had a play date with Marshall Thornhill last weekend. Jack and Marshall are going to be ring bearers in Kami and Joey's wedding in a few weeks. We thought it might be a good idea to get them together to get acquainted with one another. The first thing Jack said when he say Marshall was, "Baby." Marshall is only a few months younger than Jack, but isn't it funny how they always call other children a baby? They had a good time playing, and we even got to go feed their cows a few apples, which Jack and Georgia really liked.

Georgie Talks About Mommy

I saw a post on Lori's blog she took from a Facebook quiz. I couldn't resist asking Georgia these questions.
Enjoy!!

              1. What is something Mommy always says to you? You love me and I have the cutest little face.

              2. What makes Mommy happy? That I'm your baby girl.

              3. What makes Mommy sad? When I won't be your baby girl (sooo true!!).

              4. How does Mommy make you laugh? Tickles me.

              5. What was Mommy like as a child? Do I like Molly (my Mom's dog)? (I'm not sure what she meant here??)

              6. How old is Mommy? 10

              7. How tall is Mommy? 10 feet tall (holding her hands way up in the air).

              8. What is Mommy's favorite thing to do? Play with me.

              9. What does Mommy do when you are not around? Paint.

              10. If Mommy becomes famous, what will it be for? For loving God.

              11. What is Mommy really good at? Taking care of me.

              12. What is Mommy not very good at? Making Molly (Mom's dog, again) behave at Nana's house.

              13. What does Mommy do for her job? Works at the radio station for Daddy.

              14. What is Mommy's favorite food? Crunchy cereal (huh?).

              15. What makes you proud of Mommy? Taking good care of me.

              16. If Mommy was a cartoon character, who would she be? Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

              17. What do you and Mommy do together? Paint together and run together... (thinking for a minute) ...it's fine if you run slow.

              18. How are you and Mommy the same? We both have sprigalers (what she calls the stubble on my legs when I haven't shaved).

              19. How are you and Mommy different? You are big and I am small.

              20. How do you know Mommy loves you? Because God made you to love me.

              21. Where is Mommy's favorite place to go? To the radio station to give Daddy food (I don't think so!! She must think this is true because I do it so much!).

              Tori's Bridal Shower Luncheon

This past Saturday was Tori's bridal shower luncheon at Joy Bradford's beautiful home here in Tallassee. I can't tell you how nice everything was...the pictures don't even do justice. The food was wonderful and all very unique and not something you'd have at any other shower. The hostesses had done an excellent job with the decorations as well. Tori had so many of her friends and family come and everyone had a wonderful time. I am so happy for her. If anyone knows Tori, she has helped with so many bridal showers and baby showers, so it was nice to see her be the center of attention and be the recipient of a beautiful shower in her honor!!

The hostesses: Front row: Sally Weaver, Pam Jones, Tori, Louann Moore, Joy Bradford Back Row: Kay Davis, Cindy Pressley, Alunda Scarborough, Linda Emfinger, Leigh Hethcox, Julie Williams, Sandra Patterson, Linda Mosher

              First Tee Ball Game

Georgia Anne is playing tee ball for the first time this year. She is on the Pink Panthers team, which she was excited about because of the name and the team colors, black and pink. The was very pleased that her team colors matched her new cleats and glove. Color coordinating is very important in softball!! Several of her friends and cousins are on her team. They have two rules: 1.) Have fun! 2.) Everybody's a winner! It is the cutest thing seeing these little 4 and 5 year olds playing. You pretty much laugh the entire game. These pictures are from their first game this past Saturday.

Georgie's number is 1, so she was the first to bat.

Jack cried pretty much the entire game because he wanted his Daddy, who was on the field coaching. It made for a LONG hour.

Georgia is so glad to be on the Pink Panthers team with her cousins, Tristan and Brooke.

              Daniel's First Bath

The title of this post is "Daniel's First Bath", but I must confess this is actually his third (or fourth) bath. He screamed for the first few, and I hated to have pictures of him screaming and crying in his "first bath" pictures. So this is actually his "First bath where he actually liked his bath" pictures! Ha!He actually smiled, and you can see his cute little dimple!!

He looks a little cold and scared, but I don't think he really was.

Daddy and big sis, Georgie bathing Daniel.

When a new baby is born, everybody has an opinion about who the baby looks like. So, I've put together a "line-up" of the three Butler babies so you can determine who Daniel looks like, if anybody. I think Georgia said it best, "I think Daniel looks like Daniel." I've put a poll at the top right of the blog so you can cast your vote for who he looks like!!
